For the last twelve years at BEAN Wellness, we’ve watched life-altering breakthroughs happen behind closed doors. This year, we are breaking the doors open.

We are officially launching The Better Self Experiment, a structured, 4-day transformational reality docuseries property. We are opening a select casting pool for 5 specific individuals to join us at our premium jungle villa for a fully sponsored intensive experience under our proprietary Somatic Resilience & Bio-Systems Integration Method℠ (SRBIM).

What Is Fully Covered By BEAN Wellness:

  • Your luxury 5-bedroom villa accommodations in Mexico.

  • Daily advanced somatic breathwork, nervous system recalibration, and integration intensives led directly by co-founders Nancy and Brian Young.

  • 1 Elite Welcome Dinner (Day 1).

  • 1 Sacred Farewell Celebration Dinner (Day 3).

  • 2 Premium, Chef-Catered Breakfast Blocks.

  • High-end daily wellness snacks and hydration stations.

What You Are Responsible For:

  • Your round-trip airfare to Cancun or Tulum International Airport (CUN).

  • Your local off-site lunches in town (which serve as personal, non-production periods).

The Production Requirement:
This is a raw, high-stakes television docuseries proof-of-concept. A professional multi-cam crew will track the collective shift of the house. You must be 21+ to apply, willing to surrender your mobile device at the villa gate for a complete digital detox, (*note, there will be allotted phone time after filming), and ready to face your deepest mental barriers on camera.

    • "BEAN Wellness is fully sponsoring your luxury 5-bedroom villa accommodations in Mexico, all intensive somatic workshops led directly by Nancy and Brian Young, your Day 1 Welcome Dinner, your Day 4 Farewell Celebration Dinner, two premium chef-catered breakfasts, and daily wellness snacks. Selected participants are only responsible for their round-trip airfare to either Tulum International Airport or Cancun (CUN) and their personal off-site lunches in town."

  • We are seeking individuals aged 21+ who are ready for a major life pivot. This program is engineered for high-performers navigating extreme burnout, wellness skeptics who want to test the boundaries of somatic nervous system regulation, or anyone carrying a heavy public facade who feels ready to strip away the noise and discover true, lasting balance.

  • To capture the collective nervous system shifts and raw, unmanipulated human breakthroughs of the house, a professional multi-cam media team will track the group's journey in designated continuous daily filming blocks. Applicants must be comfortable being recorded on-camera and audio in a real, unscripted docuseries environment.

  • Due to the highly selective nature of this 5-person intensive, our executive committee will review written applications and 3-minute video links over a strict rolling window. Shortlisted finalists will be contacted privately via email to schedule a secure, confidential virtual interview.

Important Note on Your Video Link (Field 9): Your 3-minute video does not need to be professionally produced, please make sure that the lighting is natural light & you have clear audio without background noise. Simply record a raw, unedited clip on your phone. To maintain your absolute privacy, upload the video to Google Drive, YouTube (set the visibility to "Unlisted" so the public cannot see it), or Vimeo, and paste the shareable URL link in the field in the text box. Ensure link sharing permissions are turned on so our team can view it. Explain in the 3 minutes who you are & why you believe you would make a good candidate for our show.

Submission of an application does not guarantee selection, an interview, or admission into any program. Any public disclosure, leak, or mention of your video submission or profile across personal or commercial social media networks (including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, or YouTube) will cause immediate disqualification from the casting pool and automatically voids any provisional scholarship selection. The selection committee reserves the right to request additional background verification, including a mandatory, recorded Google Meet digital consultation session with production staff, prior to the finalization of the five (5) residential slots. All final selections are contingent upon the digital execution of a binding Pre-Production Non-Disclosure Agreement.
